World Kanreikai Summer Camp 2010 - Jiminy Peak, MA |
| July 8 to 11, 2010 - Again this year, Hanshi Manny Matias led three full days of karate training at the World Kanreikai Summer Camp 2010. Sensei Denis Cordeiro and Senpai Manuel da Costa travelled to Jiminy Peak to train with Hanshi Manny and several Shihan, Sensei, Senpai and students from various American and Canadian Kanreikai schools. |

Montreal Kanreikai Party 2009-10, Kirkland, QC |

June 26, 2010 - Several Montreal Kanreikai students and their families gathered at the Chalet Holleufer in Kirkland to enjoy a nice evening together, eating, playing soccer and talking about karate, vacations, etc.
The year 2009-10 was a great one for Montreal Kanreikai and we can only hope to see everyone back at the dojo for more karate training, tournaments and good times!

Belt Promotion Test at Montreal Kanreikai dojo, Pierrefonds QC |
June 26, 2010 - Hanshi Manny Matias traveled from Danbury, CT to Pierrefonds to supervise our June belt promotion test. This time, there were three successive sessions involving beginner, intermediate and advanced students. In each session, all participant had to work hard and display their abilities during the technical and fighting portions of the test.
For the first time at our dojo, thirteen students and senpai were testing for the black tip or black belt rank. |
