At Montreal Kanreikai Karate, we offer you a complete program of physical activity designed to improve your level of fitness while you acquire skills in traditional Japanese Contact Karate, a martial art that is sure to make a positive difference in your life. Join in the Montreal Kanreikai Karate experience

With us, you will discover the world of karate in a safe and friendly environment, learning proper and efficient punching, kicking and blocking techniques. You will also develop your fighting abilities by taking part in sparring sessions. You will even have the opportunity to be part of our competition team and participate in karate tournaments.

Why not join Montreal Kanreikai as a family? Several families have been training with us for some time. Training together becomes a bonding experience for families as it allows both parents and children to spend time together and achieve common goals. Indeed, young children enjoy imitating their parents … that is until they get ahead and start leading the pack!

Our chief instructor is Sensei Denis Cordeiro, co-founder and Director of World Kanreikai Karate.  Sensei Denis is very present at the dojo: he teaches several classes from beginner to advanced levels. He is a dedicated teacher and an excellent trainer who cares about his students. He is a great leader, his head always filled with projects, and he knows how to share his enthusiasm and bring his students to surpass themselves!

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Kick Boxing courses are also offered at the Montreal dojo. Our specialized instructors make sure that students get proper training whatever their objectives are: fitness, self-defense, sport competition or Mixed Martial Arts.
