June 26, 2010 - Several Montreal Kanreikai students and their families gathered at the Chalet Holleufer in Kirkland to enjoy a nice evening together, eating, playing soccer and talking about karate, vacations, etc.
The year 2009-10 was a great one for Montreal Kanreikai and we can only hope to see everyone back at the dojo for more karate training, tournaments and good times!

Belt Promotion Test at Montreal Kanreikai dojo, Pierrefonds QC |
June 26, 2010 - Hanshi Manny Matias traveled from Danbury, CT to Pierrefonds to supervise our June belt promotion test. This time, there were three successive sessions involving beginner, intermediate and advanced students. In each session, all participant had to work hard and display their abilities during the technical and fighting portions of the test.
For the first time at our dojo, thirteen students and senpai were testing for the black tip or black belt rank. |

A great season for Montreal Kanreikai Competition Team! |
Thank you to all the competitors who represented Montreal Kanreikai Karate at several out-of-town tournaments during the season 2009-2010!
They gave their best, showing skill, strenght of character and class. They made us very proud everywhere we went!
We also thank their parents for their commitment and contribution to the success and good spirit of the team.

Montreal Kanreikai at the Montérégie Championship 2010, Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, QC |
| June 19, 2010 - We would like to thank Sensei Fouad El-Harrif and Senpai Myriam El-Harrif of Karate Saint-Luc for hosting the Montérégie Championship 2010. More than 200 participants from several Quebec karate schools travelled to the Garnison St-Jean where they were welcomed by a team of very helpful volunteers. |
